Apply for Pak-Afghan Youth Dialogue

Pak-Afghan Youth Dialogue is a major confidence building initiative of the Center for Research and Security Studies (CRSS) under its Afghan Studies Center (ASC) program to provide a platform for the youth of Pakistan and Afghanistan to interact on issues of bilateral concerns, exchange ideas and become messengers of peace and cooperation beyond boundaries.

The ASC believes that the vibrant youth of both countries can be the catalyst for peace through informed discourse, joint research ventures and thus mobilizing the peoples of both countries towards constructive development. The forum focuses on the themes of working together for fostering peace initiatives, regional connectivity, trade integration, and promoting academic cooperation. This initiative is aimed at building the capacity of young people and enabling them to identify their roles in their respective countries and take positive actions for bridging the gaps between the two nations.

Both countries have inherited a shared history, culture, religion and ethnic traditions which is set as a basis for finding convergence of their mutual interests and enhanced cooperation.
