We need to critically analyze forums such as South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), that we are just hanging onto. SAARC Secretariat in Nepal, for example, actually looks like a Humayun’s tomb in Delhi; it’s dead. There is a need to get out of the denial mode. The world is moving towards the East and Asia, and the new emerging market in this region will be championed by China. Now, others are welcome to join in but the driving force or the driver of change is China.
