As China and Pakistan progress their cordial bilateral relationship, cooperating in areas of trade, development and industrialization, on the lighter side, tourist visits from both sides also continue to be on the rise. In this light, a group of delegates from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences visited Pakistan last week. Apart from holding meetings discussing regional security, Afghan peace process and CPEC, the delegates went on an excursion with the team of the Center for Research and Security Studies (CRSS), exploring different parts of Islamabad and its nearby North.
The members of both China-Pakistan think tanks visited Chinar Golf Club – a hilly resort area located near Bhurban, the Monument of Pakistan and Shakarparian where the leaders of China had planted trees upon their visits. Headed by Dr. Li, members of the China Academy of Social Sciences included Xie Laihui, Zhou Yamin, Wang Yan, Wang Jinbo, and Piao. CRSS team was headed by Mr. Aized Ali, Project Director, CRSS.
