Fawzia Koofi, a member of Afghanistan’s peace negotiation team and a human rights activist, has been named one the world’s top 50 leaders by Fortune magazine.  She has made remarkable efforts in the peace negotiations with the Taliban and has always been vocal about women’s rights and opportunities in the post-US withdrawal Afghanistan.

It is worth mentioning here that Ms. Fawzia Koofi is a prominent member of the Pakistan-Afghanistan Joint Committee (PAJC) functioning under the ‘Beyond Boundaries’ initiative by CRSS and OESP to strengthen bilateral ties between Pakistan and Afghanistan. She has made significant contributions in promoting track 1.5 and II initiatives between the two countries.

CRSS and OESP; its counterpart organization in Afghanistan, congratulate Ms. Koofi on this achievement and wish her best of luck for future endeavors.
