Pakistan announced 100 bachelor’s and master’s degree scholarships for Afghan students, the country’s envoy said on Monday.
Pakistan Ambassador to Afghanistan, Mansour Ahmad Khan, tweeted the University of Management and Technology (UMT) in Lahore has announced 100 undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships for both male and female Afghan students.
While appreciating the initiative, he stated that it is highly significant that Pakistan continues to cooperate with Afghanistan in the field of education. He also urged other institutions to assist Afghanistan in its reconstruction journey by building the capacities of Afghan youth.
