With Afghanistan facing a huge challenge from the third wave of COVID-19, Pakistan being the immediate neighbor stepped forward to help the brotherly country and sent the much needed supplies of ventilators, oxygen cylinders & concentrators, thermal guns, PPEs and other gear required to fight COVID-19 yesterday, the news was shared by Ambassador Muhammad Sadiq, Pakistan’s special representative to Afghanistan.
It is worth mentioning that Pakistan has always been the first one to help Afghanistan in times of crisis, from being a host to the greatest number of Afghan refugees and losing thousands of people in the war on terror in Afghanistan, to playing the most important role of a facilitator in the Afghan Peace Deal. Pakistan will continue to work in close coordination with Afghanistan in the future as well, because real development is possible only when the whole region develops and prospers.
