The trillion dollar expenditure in Afghanistan is really a subsidy for the American war machine. By spending that amount and/or starting new wars, they develop new wondrous weapon systems for their war machine. It is true that the loss of lives is irreplaceable, but then they regard that as cannon fodder or collateral damage as they say, which is part of the detritus of any war, said Zafar Hilaly while speaking to Center for Research and Security Studies (CRSS), Islamabad, adding, “Besides, as most of the dead are white and black trash, easily replaceable.”
Zafar Hilaly born in 1942, is a Pakistani political analyst and diplomat who has previously served as his country’s ambassador to Yemen, Nigeria, and Italy. Hilaly also writes frequently for newspapers such as the Daily Times, The Express Tribune, and The News International. Additionally, he makes frequent appearances on media channels in his capacity as an analyst.
